The “MASTERFLOW” DrillCheck™ Valve is installed in the liner assembly to protect against fluid loss as well as act as a well barrier during subsequent activities.
An aluminum cage keeps a neutrally buoyant ball across the valve inlet. When the cage is broken during cement drill-out or by later intervention, the ball will check against the valve inlet.
The Valve Inlet acts like a conventional ICD during production.
- Allows for setting of open hole packers without inner string.
- Prevents fluid loss during drill-out of partially cemented (off-bottom cemented) liners.
- Acts as a conventional ICD during production.
